Before Ross Flournoy started his output as Apex Manor, he was a founding member of the seminal power-pop band The Broken West. After that band broke up, he started his solo career with Apex Manor’s The Year Of Magical Drinking, which began as part of a songwriting contest for NPR.


Ross’s music has seen tremendous licensing success for film, tv, and commercials. His music has been featured in Grey’s Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries, Shameless, The Witches of East End, among many others. Ross has also composed for film and television, including scoring and theme song work for The Lead With Jake Tapper for CNN.
