Today we live in a world where the future is upon us and steadily expanding. VenessaMichaels manages to keep up the speed of reinvention while holding onto the vibes of the 90s, and consistently developing her own unique sound. VenessaMichaels is a producer, songwriter, and DJ. Inspired by Timbaland, Destiny’s Child, No Doubt and other 90s/2000s hip hop & pop acts, she has created her own genre called “2090.”
Since her first time on The Indigo Child Tour in 2015 with 6lack and Raury, there has been no slowing down. She has toured with Party Favor, Stooki Sound, and most recently Krewella.
Currently based out of Los Angeles, CA, VenessaMichaels has been songwriting and/or producing music with big up and coming artists such as Kiana Ledé, Leven Kali, MOONZz, Tay Jasper, Jackson Breit and Effy. She has performed at legendary Los Angeles venues such as The Shrine, El Rey, and The Palladium. Outside of her city she has performed all up along the Northern California, Southern California, Texas, Arizona, Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, & many more. She’s performed at music festivals such as Camp Flog Gnaw and Coachella.
VenessaMichaels has hosted the “BAE SHOW LA” on air on LA’s hit radio station, 97.1 AMP Radio. K-Swiss teamed up with VenessaMichaels to host a “2090 Party” at the prominent festival SXSW in Austin, Texas. She has been featured in Cosmopolitan giving advice to DJ’s and been named an Up And Coming Artist in DJ Mag’s Nov 2016 issue. An artist on the come up is short of what’s coming from this multi-talented artist. Expect to hear much more from VenessaMichaels as she is on the brink of releasing a new EP titled FLIGHT, with a major tour announcement to follow.
