Phantom Sugar is a new Toronto based lo-fi indie rock band created by artist Stevie Zita. Coming with a new yet nostalgic guitar driven pop sound, the band hopes to bring the same excitement to raw rock and roll that was present in the yesteryears. Early placements on popular playlists like Compact Cassette, Spotify’s Fresh Finds Indie, and the monthly Birp.FM’s list have brought over 20,000 listeners in a very short incubation period. With this growth and inclusion it’s safe to say Phantom Sugar is on to something.
