Choo Choo la Rouge refers to a part of the Boston subway system that passes through working class communities of the city as well as a certain Ivy League campus. The band was a mainstay of the fertile Boston scene of the late 90’s and early aughts, alongside similarly arresting acts such as Papas Fritas and Hallelujah The Hills. So, the fact that Choo Choo la Rouge are back and by all accounts sounding as good as ever is a gift that we welcome wholeheartedly.
