12Keyz is a producer and song writer based in New York City and Toronto responsible for a number of songs charting in the US, Asian and global markets.
Born with Trinidadian roots and originally hailing from Toronto, 12Keyz started playing steel pan and taught himself to play the piano at the early age of 12. He later began producing at 13. His trademark pop melodies, heavy hitting drums and masterful arrangements have led to collaborations with some of the industry’s pioneers and top-charting artists. Among them are Alessia Cara, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Jeremih, French Montana, Ashanti, Estelle and various Kpop acts.
Set apart from other music producers and song writers by his rich musical and cultural background, 12Keyz’s style of music bears its own stamp of progressive eclecticism. His knowledge of music theory and technologic wizardry provide a blend that can only be described as electrifying. 12Keyz’s sound continues to evolve as he looks to reach a wider audience and work with a variety of artists from all genres to push contemporary music into new terrain.
