LUXTIDES is the new solo venture of Danni Bouchard, whose last endeavor, Oh Honey, signed to Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic Records and enjoyed international success as a folk-pop duo. With Luxtides as the latest extension of her artistry, Bouchard dives into a deeper headspace for inspiration, penning darker, dreamier songs that soundtrack the whimsical sensation of floating in the ocean under a full moon. Releasing songs in conjunction with the moon phases, she released her first single “Shadow” in August, and followed it with her second, “Flickered” (featured on Revolt) in November, both of which have enjoyed organic adds to various Spotify playlists. Her third single “Fragile” is due out on April 13th and will be premiered by Atwood Magazine. Through her heartfelt and honest lyricism, Bouchard hopes to inspire others to overcome pain, toxic relationships and deeply personal battles with anxiety. Recently signing a publishing deal with Rough Trade Publishing, Bouchard also lends her talents as a songwriter, cowriting “Let Go” for Natasha Bedingfield and “I’d Be Lying” for Sony Norway artist Emila.
